The ideal candidate will have deep experience of the entire sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and deal closing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base and achieves growth plans in conjunction with our Marketing Manager.
  • Meet with potential clients and develop long-lasting professional relationships to drive business growth.
  • Recruit and develop a high-performing sales team, setting objectives, training, and coaching them to achieve sales targets.
  • Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans to fill them, ensuring our sales team has the skills and expertise needed to succeed.
  • Monitor and address underperformance within the team, ensuring our sales team is aligned with our business goals.
  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to close, ensuring our sales team is meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Sales Management, with a hands-on consultative approach.
  • Ideal industry experience in industrial, engineered products, or machinery into regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Proven record of success in designing and implementing sales strategies and processes.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to negotiate and close sales.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Superb leadership skills, with the ability to mentor, coach, and lead from the front.
  • Flexibility to travel nationally, with occasional international travel.

  • Competitive salary range of £65,000-£75,000 DOE.
