About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our finance team as a Senior Nuclear Finance Specialist in the UK. As part of the Egis Group, we hold ourselves responsible for tackling climate change, digital transformation, and meeting the needs of growing populations.

The role will directly lead the finance business partnering for the Nuclear Service Line in the UK, formed of two key areas of activity: Consultancy Services, Nuclear Decommissioning and Radioactive Waste Management services, and Engineering and Construction Management (and related) services for new nuclear power stations in the UK.

This position reports to the Head of Finance Business Partnering: Energy and Sustainable Cities (UK) and works closely with the UK Finance Shared Services for transactional activities.

The successful candidate will have the management of 1 FTE accounting support and provide key support to the Head of Finance Business Partnering Energy & Sustainable Cities (FBP – E&SC), from day-to-day operations to financial transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management accounting and advisory support for the Nuclear Service Line in the UK.
  • Provide key point of support to the Head of FBP – E&SC for all nuclear activity in the UK, and to entity business leads.
  • Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests.
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly management reporting to the local businesses and group.
  • Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modelling for FBP.
  • Financial support with merger and acquisition (M&A) activity.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • AACA/ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified Accountant or equivalent.
  • Significant accounting work experience, ideally in consulting and engineering projects (performance-based contracts).
  • Advanced Excel and Office skills.
  • Oracle ERP experience desirable.
  • Experience of business transformation.
  • Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business leads.
  • Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information.

About Us

Egis Group offers a competitive salary ranging from £60,000 - £80,000 depending on experience, plus benefits including performance-related bonus, pension contribution, life insurance, private healthcare for you and your family, health cash plan, and 26 days holiday (plus bank holidays).
