Job Description

The role of Senior Nuclear Finance Consultant will directly lead finance business partnering for the Nuclear Service Line in the UK.

The Nuclear Service Line comprises two key areas of activity currently in the UK: consultancy services, nuclear decommissioning and radioactive waste management, and engineering and construction management services for new nuclear power stations.

This role forms part of the finance team in the UK, reporting to the Head of Finance Business Partnering: Energy and Sustainable Cities (UK) and the business leads for these services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management accounting and advisory support, including project analysis, validation of plans and ad-hoc requests.
  • Assist with preparation for meetings with stakeholders to present insights.
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly management reporting to local businesses and group.
  • Participate in strategic data analysis, research and modelling for FBP.
  • Financial support with merger and acquisition activity.

Change Management

  • Support the future consolidation of legal entities in the UK.
  • Integrate new acquisitions within the Nuclear SL into the Egis Group finance processes.
  • Support the business as it adapts to the new Oracle ERP and finance and procurement processes.

Regulatory Activities

  • Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems.
  • Liaison with internal and external auditors.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Advanced Excel and Office skills.
  • Oracle ERP experience desirable.
  • Stakeholder engagement skills working across a complex matrix organisation.
  • Experience of business transformation.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines with accuracy.
  • Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business leads.
  • Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus performance-related bonus, pension contribution, life insurance, private healthcare for you and your family, health cash plan, 26 days holiday (plus bank holidays), tailored career path with structured training, and mentoring from senior staff.
