About the Role

The Trade Credit Director will play a key role in driving business growth and expansion for WTW's global trade credit practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead a team of deal makers and contribute to the development of the company's trade credit business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead deal teams on offensive Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Engage with the global trade credit network to map regional and global opportunities, including originating business from multinational clients and supporting global teams with GB subsidiary touchpoints.
  • Foster a sales culture and ensure effective pipeline management in collaboration with the global and GB trade credit teams, as well as the broader WTW GB, product, and regional teams.
  • Unlock business opportunities with existing clients who use other trade credit brokers or are direct with insurers.
  • Develop and implement sales plans to measure sales successes and drive business growth.
  • Initiate sales and marketing activities, including industry and conference participation, to promote WTW's trade credit services.
  • Contribute to the attraction and development of top talent within the trade credit practice.
  • Participate in the global practice's aspirations around digitization, technology, and innovation, contributing to bespoke projects and initiatives.
