AIG is seeking a highly skilled Senior Trade Credit Underwriter to join our UK Strategic and Multinational Trade Credit team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of excess of loss (XOL) clients and supporting our new business Underwriters on our ambitious growth targets.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of XOL clients, setting buyer credit limits and negotiating commercial terms at renewal.
  • Develop relationships with brokers and clients to ensure successful renewals and growth of the AIG book of business in the UK.
  • Assess specific counterparts and their financial statements to set agreed credit limits.
  • Work on new business development with our dedicated new business Underwriters.
  • Be up to date with sector, economic and political risk trends.
