We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Mobile Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a Mobile Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness at various locations in the XX postcode area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness at various locations, including mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, and dusting.
  • Operate a variety of cleaning equipment, including manual handling activities.
  • Work independently, organizing your own time and managing your workload.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and managers, adhering to Health & Safety regulations.
  • Drive a company-provided van and pay for fuel expenses between sites.

About You

We are looking for someone with previous cleaning experience, although it is not essential. You will be a naturally friendly and approachable individual with good written and verbal communication skills. You will be able to work on your own initiative, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional night shifts and late evenings.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual handling activities.
