About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and conscientious Cleaning Operative to join our team at Bath and North East Somerset Council. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of our offices and event spaces, including the Guildhall in the heart of Bath.

You will work independently under the supervision of the Cleaning Supervisor and team leader, ensuring that all areas are clean, healthy, and safe for staff and visitors. Previous experience is not essential, as full training will be provided. However, you must be able to work without supervision and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of our offices and event spaces
  • Work independently under the supervision of the Cleaning Supervisor and team leader
  • Ensure all areas are clean, healthy, and safe for staff and visitors
  • Work as part of a team to achieve cleaning and maintenance goals
