Electrical Systems Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at DPS Group Careers. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for installing cable containment systems to a high standard safely, installing, gland, terminating cable systems mainly used in the industrial sector to BS 7671 and supplied drawings, and installing electrical equipment to BS 7671 and manufacturers instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install cable containment systems to a high standard safely.
- Install, gland, terminate cable systems mainly used in the industrial sector to BS 7671 and supplied drawings.
- Install electrical equipment to BS 7671 and manufacturers instructions.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Work at height to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures (using appropriate safety equipment and adhering to safe working procedures).
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
