About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Education Support Professional to join our team at The Rawlett School in Tamworth. This is a full-time, permanent position that will commence as soon as possible.

Job Description

The successful candidate will provide essential support to students and teachers, improving learning outcomes and promoting social inclusion. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting students with accessing the curriculum and participating in learning activities
  • Delivering targeted interventions for groups or individuals
  • Providing classroom support in partnership with teachers
Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

  • A level 2 qualification in a relevant subject (level 3 advantageous)
  • Motivation and enthusiasm
  • An understanding of pupil learning needs, including specific SEND requirements
  • Skills to help students develop independent learning skills
Salary and Benefits

This role comes with a competitive salary of £25,183 - £26,409 per annum (£18,836 -£19,753 actual salary) plus benefits such as a well-being cash plan and pension scheme. We also offer opportunities for professional development, including Initial Teaching Assistant Training for those without current qualifications.
