Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable children and families? We're seeking a qualified social worker to join our team at Sanctuary Personnel Ltd in Oldbury on a full-time basis.

Remuneration: The salary range for this position is up to £46,016 per annum.

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Promote an inclusive practice environment and address any forms of discrimination or racism that may occur.
  2. Conduct comprehensive assessments with children, young people, and their families/carers to understand their needs and develop effective solutions.
  3. Engage with children, young people, and their families/carers to empower them and address their concerns.
  4. Develop personalized plans to address the unique needs of each child, young person, and family.
  5. Act as an advocate for children to ensure they receive the necessary support and services.
  6. Effectively manage available resources when responding to the needs of children, young people, and their families.
  7. Fulfill statutory obligations related to children and young people receiving services.

Required Skills and Experience:

  1. A Social Work Degree or equivalent (DipSW, CQSW, CSS) is essential.
  2. Registration with Social Work England (SWE) is also mandatory.
  3. In-depth knowledge of UK legislation relevant to children and families is crucial.
  4. Previous experience working with children, young people, and their families is required.
