  • Provide direct line management to the team and have responsibility for internal performance and resource management.
  • Work closely with staff and volunteers to build their confidence in casework skills and project work.
  • Oversee the team's casework, manage their caseloads, and provide them with guidance and support to help them develop in their roles.

Requirements

  • Strong operational managing skills, in conjunction with experience delivering client-focused projects and activities to at risk people with complex needs.
  • Delivering casework to at risk groups.
  • An in-depth knowledge of rights, entitlements, and agencies in the field of asylum seekers, refugees, and/or other at risk migrants.
  • Excellent communication and rapport building skills, as well as experience liaising with external agencies frequently.
  • Certain in your ability to prepare, manage, and monitor budgets and able to collate, interpret and report on a range of management information.
  • You're a competent people manager and know how to get the best out of a team.
