About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Gardener to join our team at Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal. As a key member of our estate maintenance team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our gardens and outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the planting and maintenance of shrubs, borders, and lawns
  • Perform a range of practical tasks to develop, improve, and look after the garden and contribute to the delivery of projects
  • Work alongside gardeners and a team of volunteers to achieve our goals
  • Provide excellent customer service to visitors, answering questions and sharing your knowledge of the garden
  • Operate a range of machinery and equipment, including tractors, hedge trimmers, and pedestrian mowers
