About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Assistant Gardener to join our team at Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal. As a key member of our gardening team, you will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of our gardens and grounds, working closely with our team of gardeners and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the planting and maintenance of shrubs, borders, and lawns
  • Perform tasks such as mulching, hedge cutting, and lawn mowing
  • Work alongside gardeners and volunteers to achieve team goals
  • Provide excellent customer service to visitors, answering questions and sharing knowledge about the gardens
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of gardening projects
