Project Manager Job Description

Astute People is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join their team in Bradford on Avon. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a forward-thinking organization that prioritizes innovation and employee development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team, driving the successful delivery of key projects.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and site teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Work with stakeholders to define project scope, develop comprehensive project plans, and allocate resources.
  • Oversee design, development, and implementation phases to ensure safety-critical standards are met.
  • Ensure successful installation and commissioning of systems, following all necessary safety protocols.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders, providing regular project updates.
  • Manage client relationships, leading discussions on design adjustments, scope changes, and project issues.
  • Prepare documentation for regulatory approvals, safety audits, and certifications, ensuring adherence to industry-specific regulations.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in design and development for safety-critical industries.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects from design through to on-site installation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance client needs with safety and technical requirements.
  • Project management certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent are advantageous.
