We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Corporate Governance. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Governance team and play a key role in ensuring the effective management of our corporate governance framework and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Governance team and provide strategic leadership to ensure the effective implementation of our corporate governance framework and processes.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our corporate governance requirements and ensure that our governance framework and processes are aligned with best practice.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to the Director of Corporate Governance, the Executive team, and the Board of Directors on corporate governance matters.
- Lead on the development and implementation of our risk management strategy and ensure that our risk management processes are effective and well-run.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure that our corporate governance framework and processes are integrated with our overall business strategy.
- Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience of working in a complex organization, leading on a portfolio area and building credible relationships across an organization.
- Proven leadership experience and ability to manage and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and inspire confidence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Ability to work in a busy open-plan office environment and travel between office locations as required.
