Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of corporate governance and risk management principles. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Governance team and ensuring that the organization's corporate governance framework and processes are effective and well-run.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the Governance team and ensure that they deliver to the highest standards of corporate governance.
  • Develop and implement effective corporate governance policies and procedures.
  • Provide expert advice and support to the Director of Corporate Governance, the Executive team, and the Board of Directors on corporate governance matters.
  • Ensure that the organization's corporate affairs are undertaken and directed to the highest standards of probity and according to statutory and legislative requirements.
  • Manage and develop the Governance team, providing supportive encouragement and motivating the team to work together to achieve objectives.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree or equivalent qualification, significant evidence of continued professional development in specialist area, and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. They will also have proven leadership experience, experience of operating in a complex organization, and the ability to build trusted relationships and inspire confidence.
