Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Markerstudy Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform in-depth profitability and margin analysis across all revenue channels, providing detailed commentary against budget/forecast.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Contribute to the production of quarterly Board packs by providing KPI and revenue analysis.
  • Conduct monthly financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Provide weekly KPI analysis and dashboard metrics to senior management, including MRR growth and churn.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly flash results and month-end analysis in line with Group reporting deadlines.
  • Support the year-end statutory audit process by preparing audit files and documentation.
  • Deputise for the Financial Controller when required, approving day-to-day transactions and journals.
  • Develop and implement robust processes and controls to manage financial risks in line with Group requirements.

Requirements:

  • Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical and data-driven approach.
  • Confident in liaising with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Solid experience with ERP and finance systems.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulatory reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and IT skills.
