Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team in Shropshire. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to children and young people in our care.
As a Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of our residents. You will work closely with our experienced team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support to children and young people in our care, promoting their independence and self-esteem.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of care plans that meet the needs of each individual.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in areas such as child development, behavior management, and safeguarding.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure a consistent and high-quality service is delivered.
We offer a competitive salary of £12.54 per hour, with a £30.00 additional sleep-in rate. You will also receive comprehensive training and development opportunities, including NVQs and career progression paths. Our benefits package includes 28 days' holiday, paid sickness leave, and a range of other perks.
We are committed to promoting the safeguarding and welfare of all children within our care. All applicants must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide at least two references covering the past two years.
