About Montcalm Collection

Montcalm Collection, a renowned collection of luxury hotels in London, seeks an experienced IT Field Support specialist to join its team. This role is instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our properties, ensuring guest satisfaction, and preserving employee well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the primary point of contact for all IT issues.
  • Possess working knowledge of installing and configuring network devices, desktops, laptops, and audio equipment.
  • Provide on-site technical assistance for events to help guests connect their equipment to our IT infrastructure or use our in-house equipment.
  • Assist guests with in-room entertainment systems, including TV, tablets, Sky, IPTV, audio systems, and Wi-Fi.
  • Coordinate with our central Helpdesk team and provide assistance on site-related tasks and duties.
  • Perform IT asset maintenance tasks, verifying assets are working correctly and in sync with our asset management software.
  • Be willing to travel between sites at short notice within London and work flexible shift timings based on department requirements.
  • Perform other ad-hoc IT tasks as assigned by the HOD.

Requirements and Skills

  • The ideal candidate should be customer-centric and have a good understanding of IT equipment, including laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile phones, and printers.
  • Possess knowledge of managing and connecting audio/video and other conferencing equipment.
  • Have practical experience of installing and terminating CAT5/6 cabling.
  • Have basic knowledge of VLANs and traffic routing.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
