Deputy Unit Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a self-motivated individual to join our team as a Deputy Unit Leader in the Gastroenterology and Liver Unit at the Royal Cornwall Hospital.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the leadership and development of the team, working closely with the multidisciplinary team, other departments, and community services to ensure seamless patient care.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse/AHP to develop their leadership skills in an acute hospital setting. The role requires flexibility, resilience, and forward thinking, with a focus on planning discharges and liaising with stakeholders to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

About the Role

  • Support the leadership and development of the Gastroenterology and Liver Unit team
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team, other departments, and community services to ensure seamless patient care
  • Plan discharges and liaise with stakeholders to achieve optimal patient outcomes
