Senior Care Coordinator for Learning Disability Services

The Senior Care Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day running of the Bromley by Bow Centre's day care service for adults with a range of abilities and needs, including those with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, dementia, and mental ill health.
They will lead a small team of support staff, workshop tutors, volunteers, and student placements, ensuring all individuals receive high-quality, person-centred support. The role will involve direct support provision, preparing and maintaining up-to-date support plans, and coordinating the provision of personalized care.
Key responsibilities include developing activities in arts and creativity, building life skills, promoting independence, wellbeing, and inclusion within the community. The Senior Care Coordinator will also ensure good working practices are established and maintained with stakeholders, including local authorities.
