About the Role


We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at Lexington in Weybridge. As a Coffee Shop Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through the provision of excellent coffee and service.


Key Responsibilities



  • Clean and maintain the bar area, ensuring it is clean and well-presented at all times
  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks using traditional equipment
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of menu items and promotions to provide accurate information to customers
  • Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, handling customer transactions and managing cash floats
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including COSHH, Food Safety, and Health & Safety

Working Pattern


This is a casual role, working as and when required. We are looking for someone who can work flexibly and is able to adapt to changing demands.


Requirements



  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Catering and Barista experience preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work at pace and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
