Key Responsibilities- Originate and Manage Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with mortgage intermediaries, professional introducers, and direct borrowers within your designated region to identify new lending opportunities.
- Manage Deal Flow: Maintain a strong sales pipeline across bridging finance and buy-to-let mortgages to meet and exceed agreed targets for both product lines.
- Collaborate with Sales Team: Work closely with the Head of Sales and internal sales team to book and manage your own diary, focusing on face-to-face appointments.
- Provide Exceptional Service: Respond to new business enquiries effectively, record them appropriately on our CRM system, and provide an exceptional level of service to our broker partners.
- Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of products, criteria, and lending policy to deal with new business enquiries effectively and provide suitable training to intermediary partners.
- Broker Portal Training: Develop an understanding of how to use the broker portal to provide suitable training to intermediary partners.
- Compliance: Comply with Responsible Lending policies and attend industry roadshows and events as required.
- Strong Sales and Presentation Skills: Possess strong sales and presentation skills to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.
- Proven Sales Track Record: Demonstrate a proven track record of success in a sales environment, specifically in specialist mortgages.
- Technical Product Knowledge: Possess technical product knowledge to facilitate and agree deals.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess highly skilled written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.
- Team Player: Ability to work as part of a team to achieve sales targets.
- Specialist Finance Knowledge: Possess a strong knowledge of bridging finance and Buy-To-Let finance.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the wider specialist finance market would be beneficial.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of Treating Customers Fairly, Money Laundering, Data Protection, Responsible Lending, FCA & PRA regulation.
