Unlock Your Potential as a Mortgage Business Development Manager

Psixty Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Mortgage Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key player in our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing relationships with mortgage intermediaries, professional introducers, and direct applicants to originate new lending opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Originate and manage relationships with mortgage intermediaries, professional introducers, and direct borrowers within your designated region.
  • Manage deal flow to maintain a strong sales pipeline across bridging finance and buy-to-let mortgages, meeting and exceeding agreed targets for both product lines.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Sales and internal sales team to book and manage your diary, focusing on face-to-face appointments.
  • Utilize phone and email to effectively respond to new business enquiries, recording them appropriately on our CRM system, while providing exceptional service to our broker partners.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of products, criteria, and lending policy to deal with new business enquiries effectively and provide suitable training to intermediary partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with competitor product offerings and market conditions to enable feedback internally for further product developments.
Requirements:
  • Strong sales and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of success in a sales environment, specifically in specialist mortgages.
  • Strong negotiation skills, ability to persuade others, and handle objections.
  • Technical product knowledge to facilitate and agree deals.
  • Highly skilled written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Proven achievement of meeting agreed sales targets within set timescales.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • A strong knowledge of bridging finance and Buy-To-Let finance.
  • Experience in the wider specialist finance market.
  • Understanding of Treating Customers Fairly, Money Laundering, Data Protection, Responsible Lending, FCA & PRA regulation.
