Warehouse Operations Manager

L & C Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Technical Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for leading a small team of technicians and warehouse operatives, ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and technical team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a small team of technicians and warehouse operatives, allocating work, checking work, and monitoring attendance.
- Support in responding to incoming technical calls and liaising with various internal departments.
- Liaise with customers directly by phone and email regarding order requirements and details.
- Ensure loads are despatched on time, safely, and securely, and control Goods In and Goods Out.
- Responsible for the quality checking and preparation scheduling of orders leaving the warehouse.
- Check despatch/products are accurate and process relevant paperwork.
Requirements:
- A high level of technical/IT hardware/AV understanding is essential, as the work you will be undertaking and allocating is of a highly technical nature.
- Previous warehouse team leader/supervisory experience is ideal, but the technical elements are more important.
- A stable, consistent work history and physical fitness are also required due to the hands-on nature of the role.
Working Environment:
The site is located on Halesfield, and own transport is ideal given the shift pattern. However, the site is accessible from Telford, Shrewsbury, Shifnal, Wolverhampton, Perton, and other surrounding areas.
