Job Title: Warehouse Team Leader
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our team at Culina Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse staff to ensure the efficient and effective management of our warehouse operations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve productivity and service KPIs
- Manage the Goods Inwards area and Loading bays to ensure timely and damage-free receipt of goods
- Develop and train team members to maximize their contributions to the warehouse
- Carry out disciplinary and grievance interviews and investigations in line with company procedure
- Support the Shift Manager in ad hoc duties within the warehouse function
- Oversee the cross-docking process
- Ensure a clean and tidy workplace at all times
- Conduct daily shift briefs to keep teams informed and up-to-date
- Ensure compliance with company Health, Safety, and Welfare policies
- Monitor and control the work environment to optimize efficiency
- Ensure shift performance aligns with workload and KPIs
- Utilize available resources to their full potential
Requirements:
- Previous operational experience in a warehouse environment
- Experience in managing a large team
- Good working knowledge of warehouse and logistics operations in a FMCG environment
- Good health and safety knowledge
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to work as part of a team and individually
- Conscientious and reliable
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
- Effective prioritization of workload to meet deadlines
- Proactive and able to make decisions
