Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Title: Warehouse Team Leader
As a key member of the Culina Group team, the Warehouse Team Leader plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities. Reporting to the Shift Manager, this position is responsible for motivating and managing the shift team to achieve productivity and service KPIs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and motivate the shift team to ensure productivity and service KPIs are achieved or exceeded.
- Oversee the Goods Inwards area and Loading bays to ensure receipts are made quickly and without damaging goods.
- Develop and train team members to maximize their contributions to the warehouse.
- Carry out disciplinary and grievance interviews and investigations in line with Company procedure.
- Support the Shift Manager in ad hoc duties within the Warehouse function.
- Oversee the cross-docking process.
- Ensure the workplace is clean and tidy at all times.
- Conduct daily shift briefs to keep teams informed and up-to-date.
- Ensure all areas of the warehouse comply with Company Health, Safety, and Welfare policies.
- Monitor and control the work environment to optimize efficiency.
- Ensure shift performance aligns with workload and Key Performance Indicators.
- Utilize available resources to their full potential.
Requirements:
- Previous operational experience within a warehouse environment.
- Experience in managing a large team.
- Good working knowledge of Warehouse and Logistics operations within a FMCG environment.
- Good health and safety knowledge.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
- Conscientious and reliable.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
- Effective prioritization of workload to meet set deadlines.
- Proactive and able to make decisions.
