About the Role

We're seeking a Visitor Experience Officer to join our team at Dunstable Downs. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences for our visitors.

Key Responsibilities

You'll be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience for our visitors, inspiring them to engage with our site and its stories. This will involve devising and delivering events and activities, creating interpretive displays and other engaging experiences that bring our place to life.

You'll also be responsible for ensuring that our visitor operations remain compliant, well-presented, and well-staffed each day. This will involve supervising and supporting volunteers, organizing rotas, and checking standards of presentation on site.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Experience in customer service or a related field
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays
