About the Role

As a Youth Independence Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting young people leaving care to achieve independence and realize their goals.

Working closely with care leavers, you will provide tailored guidance and support to help them navigate life's challenges and make informed decisions about their future.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with care leavers
  • Contribute to pathway planning to equip young people with the necessary skills for independent living
  • Offer flexible support during times of crisis
  • Promote a culture of inclusivity and respect in all interactions
Essential Requirements

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Advice and Guidance, Health and Social Care, or equivalent education
  • Knowledge of young people's issues, assessment methods, and education/employment trends
  • Ability to travel and flexibility to work evenings and weekends
