At Saxton Leigh, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Leader to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our banking operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Regulatory Compliance: Our Senior Operations Leader will be responsible for guaranteeing adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies to minimize operational risks.
  • CORRESPONDENT BANK RELATIONSHIPS: The ideal candidate will foster strong relationships with correspondent banks to ensure seamless transactions, quick issue resolution, and smooth support services.
  • FUNDING REQUIREMENTS: Collaboration with Business Development and Financial Markets departments is essential to meet funding needs and efficiently manage funds movements.
  • PROJECT LEADERSHIP: Our Senior Operations Leader will oversee projects related to operational systems, guaranteeing timely completion, achieving objectives, and maintaining cost efficiencies.
  • HQ AND IT SUPPORT: Liaising with the Head Office and IT regarding HO's system issues and other business requirements is crucial.
  • T EAM MANAGEMENT: Supervising and leading a team of banking professionals, providing guidance and support;
  • OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE: Monitoring and analyzing operational performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions.
  • PROCESS STREAMLINING: Coordination with external partners and stakeholders is necessary to streamline processes and achieve operational excellence.
  • SKILL ENHANCEMENT: Regular training sessions will be conducted to enhance the skills and knowledge of the operations team.
  • SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE: Providing specialist knowledge and support to the Operations function to ensure deliverables are achieved to meet business requirements.
  • REPORTING: Preparing regular Management Information (MI) reports for the management team;
  • DEPARTMENTAL SUPPORT: Assisting with and covering any tasks within the department as needed.
Required Experience:
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
  • Extensive experience in Operations with a proven track record.
  • Demonstrated expertise in banking operations, including financial regulations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Loans Administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of Payment Operations.
  • Solid grasp of Treasury Operations.
  • Over 10 years of experience in Financial Services Industry.
