Automotive Claims Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Claims Specialist to join our team at Custom Home Audio Video Integration. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for examining damages to vehicles and property, communicating with third parties, and determining the amount of money owed.
Key Responsibilities- Claims Examination: Review and record claims on our in-house system, checking policy coverage and allocating appropriate codes and reserves.
- Liability Enquiries: Make liability enquiries, in accordance with our Adjuster's Manual, using the most appropriate method (phone, correspondence, field visit).
- Communication: Respond to all written and phone enquiries clearly, courteously, and promptly.
- Claims Management: Review claims regularly using our diary system to ensure accurate reserves and timely closure.
- Administrative Support: Assist in general office administration, such as post, printing, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment, to ensure the smooth running of our office.
- Compliance: Comply with all Custom Home Audio Video Integration and office procedures.
- Training: Actively participate in our training program to enhance your skills and knowledge.
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication and analytical skills. As a Claims Resolution Specialist, you will have the ability to:
- Verify and Analyze Coverage: Verify and analyze coverage of adjuster-level claims with moderate supervisor oversight.
- Investigate Claims: Investigate adjuster-level claims, build rapport with involved parties, and establish facts of the case sufficient to support claims strategy with moderate supervisor oversight.
- Determine Liability: Determine liability/compensability on adjuster-level claims.
- Develop Resolution Strategies: Create and execute a proactive resolution strategy utilizing the facts gathered during the investigation of adjuster-level claims.
- Manage Reserves: Establish ultimate probable reserve as information comes available, reviewing and proactively managing on diary as evidenced in Claim Notes, under limited supervision.
- Understand Litigation Process: Have a thorough understanding of the litigation process and early identification of the probability of settlement with moderate supervision.
- Pursue Resolution Opportunities: Recognize and proactively pursue resolution opportunities of adjuster-level claims, including creative alternatives to typical resolutions, at the earliest point to deliver optimal outcome with moderate supervision.
- Pursue Recovery Opportunities: Recognize and proactively pursue recovery opportunities on adjuster-level claims at the earliest point.
- Present Claims: Demonstrate ability to prepare and present adjuster-level claims while showing confidence and poise.
