About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at MLK Education Search. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, adapting to their unique needs and learning styles.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist students with daily living skills, such as organization, time management, and self-advocacy.
  • Support students in educational and social development, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure seamless support.
Requirements
  • Experience working with students with SEN, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, with a flexible and patient approach.
  • Knowledge of SEN policies and procedures, with a commitment to inclusive education.
