## Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team at Major Ashford Healthcare. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our children's home, providing exceptional care and support to our young people.
## Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and risk assessments for our young people
* Form strong relationships with young people, their families, and external agencies to ensure effective communication and support
* Maintain a clean and tidy living environment, promoting a sense of community and respect for others
* Ensure accurate and up-to-date records are maintained, with supervision and guidance from senior staff
* Promote high standards of residential care work, adhering to Ofsted expectations
* Support the educational and social development of each young person, implementing Individual Education Programs as needed
* Meet the emotional and physical needs of our young people, maximizing opportunities for their growth and development
* Provide support to the Manager of the home, undertaking senior duties as directed
## Requirements
* Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent (desirable)
* Experience working in a children's home setting (essential)
* Passion for nurturing and supporting young people
* Ability to work flexible shift patterns, including sleep ins (rota plan provided in advance)
* Full, UK driving licence (essential)
* Must be over 21 years old to meet industry regulations
