Enterprise Risk Management Specialist

As an Enterprise Risk Management Specialist at SOCIETE GENERALE, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring the standards for key components of the normative documentation, including the Risk Appetite Framework, Risk Appetite Statement, and Risk Management Framework. This will involve coordinating the update process, ensuring consistency with the Group normative documentation, and establishing alignment with regulatory expectations.
You will also be responsible for preparing clear, accurate, and efficient documentation and related summaries, establishing and monitoring adherence to the RAF, RAS, and RMF, and coordinating and enhancing SGLB and SGIL risk identification and assessment framework. Additionally, you will undertake the review and challenge of key ESG risk factors and capital management aspects, maintain awareness of business, regulatory, and market developments, and provide support and thought leadership to enhance risk management.
Required Profile
The ideal candidate will have an advanced understanding of enterprise risk management in a banking environment, deep experience in developing Risk Management Frameworks, Risk Appetite, Risk identification and assessment, capital management, and production of ICAAP deliverables. They will also have sound knowledge of and experience in identifying, assessing, and managing ESG risk factors, experience in assessing internal and external risk trends, regulatory developments, and articulating impact on key deliverables. Furthermore, they will be a team player with excellent emotional intelligence, enjoy sharing information, work collaboratively, and have strong risk culture and reliable professional conduct. They will also have excellent coordination and project management skills, demonstrating impactful leadership, and be adept at forming effective relationships across all levels of seniority to collaborate with, influence, and engage key stakeholders. Finally, they will have demonstrable ability to deliver compelling, well-structured presentations, writing proficiency, especially for key governance and normative documentation, and be proficient in the use of all Microsoft office applications and proven ability to innovate.
