Mental Health Assistant

Job Description
We are seeking a Behaviour Mentor Assistant to join our team in Richmond. As a Behaviour Mentor Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students' social and emotional development and promoting positive behaviours in a secondary school setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with students to develop strategies for improving their behaviour and academic achievement.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement behaviour management plans.
- Provide individualised support to students, focusing on goal setting, coping strategies, and conflict resolution.
- Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and school leaders to monitor progress and provide updates.
Requirements
A degree in Psychology or a related field is essential for this Behaviour Mentor Assistant role. We are looking for an individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and collaborate with staff.
Salary
A competitive daily rate of £96-£105 on a permanent PAYE contract.
