About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children and Families Worker to join our team at Coventry City Council. As a key member of our Children's Services team, you will play a vital role in delivering an outstanding service to children and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with children, young people, and their families, as well as colleagues and professionals from other agencies.
  • Have a deep understanding of children and young people's development and be able to identify appropriate interventions for children and families.
  • Have experience of intervention work with children and young people, as well as parents and carers.
  • Have a good understanding of domestic violence and abuse, parenting interventions, and assessments, as well as direct work with children and young people.
  • Be aware of legislation, policy, and guidance in relation to children's safeguarding.
