About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Contact Worker to join our team at Swan Family Centres Limited. As a key member of our Children and Family Contact Centre, you will play a vital role in improving outcomes for children, young people, and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport and escort children and young people to and from contact sessions.
  • Undertake and observe supervised contact for children and their families, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  • Risk manage and intervene as necessary to safeguard children, prioritizing their well-being above all else.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed reports of contact sessions, adhering to agreed time scales.
  • Attend and participate in planning meetings and reviews, as required, to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Identify and respond to levels of risk, prioritizing safeguarding at all times.
  • Attend supervision and training courses to enhance skills and knowledge in relation to the role.
Requirements
  • A minimum Level 3 NVQ in Children and Young People or equivalent qualification.
  • A current DBS for working with adults and children, with assistance available for obtaining.
  • A driving license and access to a car is desirable but not essential.
