Job Description

This position involves overseeing Paraplanning support across multiple practices, delivering exceptional technical services to Advisers. You will also be responsible for centralised Paraplanning or technical activities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Recruit, manage, train, and develop skilled Paraplanners within budget and headcount levels, supporting multiple Advice practices.
  • Train and monitor new employees, ensuring they meet competence standards within agreed timelines.
  • Support, develop, and mentor candidates from the Paraplanning Subs Bench and trainee Paraplanners.
  • Collaborate with other Paraplanning Managers to ensure sufficient resource and technical coverage for report writing tasks.
  • Perform quality checks on reports, turnaround times, and process adherence.
  • Assist the Managing Director in regional and practice-based activities.
Requirements
  • Certification in Regulated Financial Planning (Level 4 Diploma)
  • Previous experience in Paraplanning
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and develop staff
  • Leadership skills

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a financial services technical role, with experience as a Paraplanner Manager being desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

An attractive basic salary of £60,000 - £75,000 per annum, flexible benefits package, and hybrid working arrangement are offered in return.
