About the Role

As a specialist nurse advisor, you will work closely with patients and practices to deliver up-to-date care, leveraging your intimate understanding of national treatment guidelines. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Providing expert advice and support to healthcare professionals on diabetes management
  • Developing and implementing nursing programmes to drive best practice and improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborating with the NHS in primary care to ensure seamless delivery of services

What We Look For

To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience (post-registration) managing diabetes within primary care
  • Knowledgeable and confident in providing education, support, and advice to people with Type 2 Diabetes
  • Skills and knowledge in optimising oral hypoglycaemics
  • IT literacy, including primary care systems
