Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Heidelberg Materials AG. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our concrete batching plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Planning and Control
    • Develop and implement production plans to meet customer requirements and optimize plant output.
    • Monitor and control production processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Team Leadership and Development
    • Lead and motivate a team of production staff to achieve high levels of performance and productivity.
    • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
    • Identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Quality and Customer Service
    • Ensure that all products meet customer requirements and company quality standards.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Inventory Management and Maintenance
    • Manage inventory levels and ensure that all materials are available to meet production demands.
    • Coordinate and implement routine maintenance and repairs to ensure plant equipment is in good working order.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a production or supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
