Plant Fitter Technician

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team at J Devine Plant Hire. As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy plant equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and ready for use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair faults on a range of heavy plant equipment, including excavators, dumpers, rollers, and telehandlers.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as servicing and inspecting equipment, to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• Use a range of tools and equipment, including Mig and Arc welding equipment, to repair and maintain plant equipment.
• Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth operation of the business.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in plant maintenance and repair.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Full UK driving licence and experience driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle.
• Attention to detail and ability to work methodically.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
