This role is an excellent opportunity to work with a fantastic multi-academy trust based in Salisbury, who are seeking a passionate and confident teaching assistant to join their resource base. The school is a mainstream environment; however, they have opened up a resource base to support a small number of students with SEN.

About the School:

The school supports students from early years to year 6, providing a nurturing environment and celebrating students' successes no matter how big or small. Located in the lovely Wiltshire town of Salisbury, the school offers a supportive community for employees, with regular training provided.

About the Role:

You will be working with up to 10 students in the resource base, developing rapport with each student, becoming a positive role model and mentor. You will offer support with activity preparation, implement your creative side when devising activities, lead small group interventions, and provide 1:1 support. It is essential that you have previously supported students with learning, social, emotional, and mental health needs, as well as challenging behaviour.

Key Details:

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday term time only, between the hours of 8:30 am - 3:30 pm. Commencing as soon as possible, you will be employed by the school, contracted to work 38 weeks per year.

Estimated salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum.
