We are currently working closely alongside a Local Authority in Islington to assist with the appointment of a Care Manager on a 3-month contract, which may be extended at the client's discretion. Salary: £19.59 - £25.96 per hour

Job Description:

The successful candidate will ensure that commissioned packages are cost-effective, innovative, and focused on recovery, using strength-based practice values.

  • Ensure that any commissioned packages are cost-effective, innovative, and focused on recovery.
  • Carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Council's Health and Safety Policy and relevant Health and Safety legislation.
  • Deliver strengths-based quality conversations, signposting, and early intervention and prevention to enable residents to lead healthy independent lives outside of formal adult social care wherever possible.
  • Undertake duties as directed by Service Lead or any other senior as service demands.
  • Following requisite training, assess for specialist equipment and minor adaptations as required and order same through appropriate means.

Qualifications:

  • Qualification credit Framework level 3 (QCF) in health and social care or willingness to train to achieve this.

  • You should be available to work immediately or at short notice.
  • You should have the right to work in the UK.
  • This role requires an enhanced DBS.
