Job Summary

Central London Community Healthcare (CLCH) is seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Nurse Specialist to join our team in West Hertfordshire. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist respiratory care to patients with complex conditions, including COPD, asthma, bronchiectasis, OSA, and ILD.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop new initiatives and manage change. You will work autonomously to deliver specialist clinical care, undertaking comprehensive assessments and developing treatment plans for patients using evidence-based guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver specialist respiratory care to patients with complex conditions
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Work autonomously to deliver clinical care, using evidence-based guidelines
  • Develop and implement specialist care programmes, including home oxygen therapy and pulmonary rehabilitation
  • Accurately undertake specialist clinical skills, including spirometry and venepuncture
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN) Level 1 registration with the NMC
  • Post-registration respiratory qualification or equivalent experience
  • Teaching/Mentorship qualification or equivalent experience
  • Possession of a degree or equivalent
  • Experience of working with respiratory patients and in a community setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
  • Ability to motivate self and others
  • Ability to make decisions and prioritise actions
