Central London Community Healthcare (CLCH) is seeking a skilled Respiratory Nurse Specialist to join our team in Hertfordshire. As a key member of our multidisciplinary respiratory team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality community respiratory services to patients with long-term respiratory conditions.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity enables you to work autonomously with complex respiratory patients, utilizing your expertise to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, performing arterial and venous blood gas sampling, and providing expert care in areas such as home oxygen therapy and pulmonary rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver specialist clinical care to patients with respiratory conditions, including COPD, asthma, and bronchiectasis.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Perform arterial and venous blood gas sampling and other clinical skills as required.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care.
- Participate in quality assurance and audit activities to ensure high-quality care.
