Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert clinical care for patients with complex mental health issues, utilizing evidence-based practices and staying up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field.
  • Lead multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care, promoting a culture of open communication and mutual respect.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of innovative treatment programs, working closely with colleagues to design and deliver effective interventions.
  • Offer clinical supervision and mentorship to junior medical staff and trainees, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop in their careers.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, staying current with industry trends and best practices, and contributing to the academic and research activities of Nelson House.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practice guidelines, maintaining the highest standards of care and adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Medical degree and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • CCT in Psychiatry or equivalent qualification.
