GP Safeguarding Adults and Children Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated GP to join our team as a Safeguarding Adults and Children Specialist. As a key member of our primary care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide High-Quality Patient Care: Consult with patients in the surgery, at home visits, and via telephone or online mechanisms to provide comprehensive and compassionate care.
- Safeguarding Adults and Children: Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness, develop care plans for health, and provide counseling and health education as necessary.
- Collaborate with the Primary Healthcare Team: Work closely with the wider primary healthcare team to identify health needs, collect baseline data, and conduct clinical audits.
- Prescribe Medications: Compile and issue computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions, prescribing in accordance with the Practice/Fareham & Gosport CCG prescribing formulary.
