About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Children in Care Team, dedicated to providing quality services to children in care and their families. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children, developing and implementing plans to address their concerns, and working collaboratively with multi-agency networks to achieve positive outcomes.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of the legislation governing work with children, including the Children's Act 1989 and the Care Act 2014. You will be expected to work effectively with a complex caseload, engaging with a variety of stakeholders and communicating effectively both verbally and in writing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct holistic social work assessments to identify risk and need
  • Develop and implement plans to address concerns and promote positive outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with multi-agency networks, including health and education professionals
  • Engage with children, families, and carers to understand their needs and concerns
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
