The Role

As a key member of our growing team, the Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring seamless execution and optimal efficiency.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Warehouse Manager and Supply Chain team to guarantee the smooth operation of our business.

This senior role encompasses full management of Goods In & Goods Out administration, compliance, and additional responsibilities as our company continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the supply chain team in day-to-day operations, ensuring timely completion of tasks and maintaining stock integrity and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Conduct regular reviews of outstanding workload to identify areas for improvement and optimize processes.
  • Ensure full compliance with HMRC regulations, Food Standards, Organics, and Packaging Waste requirements.
  • Manage bespoke projects, including new customer onboarding, compliance, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Support the General Manager in developing commercial strategies and opportunities at both company and group levels.
  • Negotiate and maintain relationships with bonded warehouses and external suppliers of services, such as shippers, freight forwarders, and parcel carriers.
