Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Morrisons. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Manufacturing site.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment, identifying and resolving any potential issues before they cause disruptions.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with production teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and provide technical expertise to enhance productivity.
- Quality and Safety: Monitor and calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy, quality, and safety standards are met.
- Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and spare parts inventory.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety guidelines and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
We are looking for someone with:
- Qualifications: NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems used in the FMCG industry.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery, including conveyors, motors, pumps, and packaging equipment.
